On October 13, 2021, “Seminar on Fishery Development and Management for Arabic Countries” sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by FFRC officially started.
Researcher Zhu Jian of FFRC stated that FFRC is willing to continue extensive and in-depth cooperation with Arab countries in the field of fishery management, to jointly develop green and sustainable fisheries, and to build a closer fishery community with a shared future for the earnest benefit of the Chinese and Arab people.
Zhu Dan, Chief of Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said that in the post-epidemic era, the tripartite cooperation would be further deepened, and the space for economic and trade cooperation between Wuxi and Arab countries would be continuously expanded to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results for both sides.
The 14-day seminar attracted 30 participants from 5 countries including Egypt, Iraq, Sudan, Oman, and Algeria. FFRC will conduct in-depth interaction with participants through topics such as fishery management, rational exploitation of resources, and sustainable development.
