FFRC’s Fishery Aid Project for Africa was Selected as One of the Three Typical Cases of Foreign Aid Training by the Ministry of Commerce

On November 29, the Training Center of the Ministry of Commerce presented three typical cases of China-Africa human resources development cooperation to the leaders of the Ministry of Commerce under the theme of “Telling the China-Africa Story Well and Opening a Pragmatic Chapter”. FFRC’s Fisheries Training Project in Eritrea stood out among more than 100 professional thematic cases in 17 areas and was successfully selected.

“Training Course on Fishery and Aquatic Product Processing in Eritrea” is one of the overseas human resources and capacity building training courses organized by FFRC. 9 freshwater experts carried out a 21-day fishery technology training in Eritrea, training more than 150 talents in fishery technology, scientific research and management. During the training period, “People’s Daily” and “People’s Daily Online” made special reports on the training under the title of “China's multi-field assistance in Eritrea's capacity-building, Eritrean officials lamented - we see a bright future through cooperation”.

In the future, FFRC will continue to adhere to and carry forward the spirit of China-Africa friendship and cooperation, and resolutely implement the “2021 China-Africa Modern Agricultural Technology Exchange and Demonstration and Training Project” to promote China's advanced and mature green aquaculture technology and management experience to Africa through aquatic technology exchange and demonstration, and help alleviate poverty in Africa.
