The WJCI report determines the proportion of source journals in each country from the four dimensions: R&D investment, scientific research paper output, number of scientific researchers, scale and level of journals, and selects 14287 outstanding journals with the most regional, disciplinary, and industry representatives from more than 60,000 active scientific and technical academic journals in the world. Among them, 1426 Chinese scientific journals are indexed in the WJCI Report, with an average WJCI index of 1.185.
