The “Training Course on Aquaculture for African Countries” was officially started

On September 9, the online opening ceremony of theTraining Course on Aquaculture for African Countries”, a foreign aid training program sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by FFRC, was held in FFRC.

At the opening ceremony, Ge Xianping, Secretary of the Party committee of the center, called on China to join hands with African countries to overcome the difficulties and make due contributions to the recovery and future sustainable development of aquaculture industry in Africa.

The representative of Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology said that Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology is willing to strengthen cooperation with FFRC to promote win-win cooperation with African countries in the fields of science and technology, education, humanities and other fields.

Participant from Ugandan made a speech on behalf of all the participants. He said that all the participants will make full use of the online training platform and actively participate in the training organized by FFRC, so as to gain more knowledge for the future development of aquaculture in Africa.

The 21-day training course attracted more than 50 participants from 8 countries including Egypt, Zambia, and Nigeria.
