The Youth League Committee of FFRC Held a Sharing Session on the Deeds of Outstanding Young Staff in the Centennial of the Founding of the Communist Youth League of China

On May 5, the Youth League Committee of FFRC held a sharing session on the deeds of outstanding youth members to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China. The sharing session was held online, and presided over by Guo Jin, secretary of the Youth League Committee of FFRC. All the leadership of the center attended the meeting.

Secretary Ge Xianping pointed out in his speech that in recent years, the youth team of the center has grown continuously and made outstanding contributions to the center's scientific research and innovation work. Especially under the current severe epidemic prevention and control situation, a group of outstanding young comrades have emerged to fight on the front line of the fight against the epidemic to ensure the stable and orderly development of scientific research.

Director Xu Pao said that at this special historical moment, FFRC and Wuxi Fisheries College are facing unprecedented pressure and challenges in epidemic prevention and control. While meeting the relevant requirements for epidemic prevention and control, we need to ensures the stable development of the center's scientific research and the orderly development of the daily work of Wuxi Fisheries College.

Subsequently, five outstanding young representatives, Xu Dongpo from the Dept. of Aquatic Biological Resources, Sun Cunxin from the Dept. of Fishery Veterinary&Feed Nutrition, Zhang Xizhao, Xie Haiying, and Zhou Siyu from the Dept. of International Cooperation and Education, shared their growth experiences, struggles and life insights on scientific and technological innovation and epidemic prevention and control.

Nearly 150 members of the Youth League Committee, some young staff of FFRC and students from Wuxi Fisheries College participated in the online activity.
