From August 23 to 27, the “Training Course on Fishery Technology Extension for Taizhou City” sponsored by Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and organized by Freshwater Fisheries Research Center was held in Taizhou City. Ge Xianping, Secretary of the Party Committee of FFRC, and Hu Zhihong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director General of Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, attended the opening ceremony.

This training course lasted for 5 days. FFRC has carefully arranged 6 experts with solid theory and extensive experience to give presentations, including the general development of the conventional freshwater fish in China and grass carp healthy aquaculture technology, new technology and new model of the integrated rice-fish farming, ecological disease prevention and control technology of the aquatic animals, river crab, freshwater shrimp and crayfish green ecological aquaculture technology, etc., and arranged the on-site teaching for participants to deepen their understanding of fishery-agriculture industrialized model, such as shrimp and crab standardized ecological farming, integrated rice-fish farming, fishery culture experience and industrialized crayfish seed rearing.

Jiang Haizhou, Deputy Chief of the Division of Technical Extension& dissemination, and Ma Guanghui, Chief of the Dept. of Science and Education of Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, attended the opening ceremony. A total of 111 fishery technicians from all regions of Taizhou participated in this training course.
