On November 4-6, the 7th Workshop on Lipid Nutrition and Metabolism in Aquatic Animals, hosted by the Animal Nutrition and Feed Professional Committee of the China Society of Fisheries and organized by Ningbo University, was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Researcher Liu Bo, Post Scientist of the National Shrimp and Crab Industry Technology System and Chief Expert of the Animal Nutrition and Feed Innovation Team of the Conventional Aquatic Animal of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, led the team to participate in the workshop.
At the workshop, Researcher Liu Bo gave an oral report entitled “Tea Tree Essential Oil Alleviates Oxidative Stress of Macrobrachium Rosenbergii Induced by High-fat Diet via the Autophagy Based on Gut-liver Axis”, and Dr. Song Changyou gave an oral report at the youth academic forum entitled “Protective Effects of Emodin on Oxidative Stress through Notch-Nrf2 Crosstalk in Megalobrama amblycephala.
Workshop on Lipid Nutrition and Metabolism in Aquatic Animals was initiated by Professor Li Yuanyou in 2015, which aims to build an exchange platform for the research of lipid nutrition and metabolism of aquatic animals at home and abroad, share the latest progress and development trends in this field, discuss the paths and modes of cooperation and exchange at home and abroad, and promote the research and development of aquatic animal lipid nutrition.
