Recently, the achievement of “Key Technology Development and Application of Freshwater Shrimp Fine Seed Rearing, Breeding and Aquaculture” led by Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences won the first prize of the 6th Fan Li Science and Technology Award in the category of science and technology progress.

The project has cultivated 3 new varieties approved by the Fine Seed Committee; Obtained 60 authorized patents, including 33 invention patents and 27 utility model patents; 1 software copyright; Published 211 academic papers, including 102 SCI papers; Published 8 books. The successful implementation of the project has brought remarkable efficiency in the transformation of scientific research achievements, with a cumulative demonstration and extension area of 6.149 million mu and an additional profit of 8.59 billion yuan in 2019-2021.
