On February 27-28, Chen Danmin, Director of Freshwater Fisheries Research Institute of Fujian, led a group to FFRC for research and exchange, and warmly welcomed by Director Xu Pao of FFRC. Xu Gangchun, Deputy Director of FFRC, Zhu Jian, Member of the Party Committee and Chief of the Division of Research, and chiefs of major departments attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Director Chen Danmin introduced the basic situation of Freshwater Fisheries Research Institute of Fujian, focusing on aquaculture technology innovation, protection and utilization of fishery environment and ecological resources, aquatic animal disease control, animal nutrition and feed disciplines, and the operation and management of scientific research bases.

Director Xu Pao said that FFRC and Freshwater Fisheries Research Institute of Fujian have maintained friendly cooperation for a long time, and FFRC will share experience with Freshwater Fisheries Research Institute of Fujian in key discipline construction, innovation team training, major project application and core technology transformation, etc..

Director Chen Danmin also visited the exhibition room, Dept. of Fishery Environment Protection, Dept. of Fishery Genetics & Breeding, Dept. of Fishery Veterinary & Feed Nutrition, and inspected the construction and operation of Yangzhong Pilot Research Station.

During the period, Director Chen Danmin also visited Jiangyin Shengang Sanxian Aquaculture Co., Ltd., Zhenjiang Jiangzhiyuan Fishery Technology Co., Ltd. and other enterprises.
