On May 12, Freshwater Shrimp Nutrition and Feed Post of the National Shrimp and Crab Industry Technology System, and Nutrition and Feed Innovation Team of Jiangsu Freshwater Shrimp Industry Technology System held the Technical Training Course on Shrimp and Crab Ecological Farming in Danyang. Prof. HE Yijin from FFRC, Prof. YAO Guoxing from Jiangsu Provincial Fishery Technology Extension Center and Director LIU Jianhua from Danyang Aquaculture Technology Guidance Station, were invited to give lectures during the training course.

The training major introduced disease prevention and control of freshwater shrimp and feed feeding technology, environment construction and modification in the process of freshwater shrimp farming, water quality regulation and control, as well as aquatic plants control etc.. All the experts introduced solutions to solve practical problems in freshwater shrimp industry, in order to help famers culture good-quality freshwater shrimp, improve seed rearing technology, increase seed production of freshwater shrimp, and further to promote the development of freshwater shrimp industry and increase the income of farmers.

It is reported that above 150 farmers and technicians from Danyang、Yangzhong and Gourong participated in this training course.
