On November 27, Vice President Lei Hao of the Academy for International Business Officials of the MOFCOM visited FFRC for investigation.

Director General Xu Pao of FFRC introduced the achievements of FFRC in the implementation of the foreign aid training and academic degree projects sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce under the framework of South-South Cooperation and the “Belt and Road” Initiative, and focused on the highlights of the international cooperation work of FFRC and the ideas for future work.

Vice President Lei Hao expressed his appreciation for the achievements of FFRC in long-term commitment to foreign aid training and foreign cooperation, and hoped that FFRC would further give full play to its own advantages, help developing countries improve their innovation capacity building of the aquatic industry, and make greater contributions to serving the national diplomatic strategy.

During the investigation, Vice President Lei Hao expressed his condolences to the 2023 international students, hoping that the international students could deeply experience Chinese traditional culture while mastering professional knowledge, bring China’s fishery management, aquaculture technology and deep friendship back to their own countries, and devote themselves to the development of their own fishery industry and multilateral and bilateral fishery science and technology cooperation.

The accompanying experts also checked the overall implementation of the project of FFRC in 2022 and 2023 and put forward suggestions for improvement.
