On November 28, the 11th Congress of the Genetics Society of China was held in Wuhan, Hubei. Researcher Dong Zaijie of FFRC was elected as a member of the 11th Council of the Genetics Society of China.

Researcher Dong Zaijie has been engaged in aquatic genetics breeding, reproduction and molecular biology research for a long time, and has undertaken more than 60 national, provincial and international cooperation research projects, etc.. He also has carried out systematic and innovative research and development in the genetic basis of aquatic animals, breeding technology, propagation technology and aquaculture demonstration and extension, and has achieved outstanding results.

Researcher Dong Zaijie is a national candidate of the One Hundred Million Talents Project, young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions to the country, an expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, and an outstanding talent in national agricultural scientific research.
