On February 2, FFRC held the 2023 Annual Summary and Commendation Meeting to convey the spirit of the 2024 Work Conference of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, comprehensively summarize the work of FFRC in 2023, and deploy the key tasks of the Center in 2024. The meeting was presided over by Bing Xuwen, Deputy Director General of FFRC.

The meeting first appointed Researcher Ge Xianping, the former Secretary of the Party Committee of FFRC and Chief Scientist in the field of aquaculture of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, as the Chief Scientist of FFRC, and then commended the collectives and individuals who won the scientific and technological achievement awards, outstanding innovation teams, happy teams and innovative talents of FFRC in 2023.

Director General Xu Pao made a work report, conveyed the spirit of the 2024 Work Conference of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, summarized the work achievements of FFRC in 2023, analyzed the new situation and new requirements, and deployed the key tasks of FFRC in 2024 from 10 aspects.
