On November 13,the closing ceremony of the “Training Course on Fish Seed Production and Feed Development for Developing Countries” successfully completed. Deputy Director Xu Sheng of FFRC attended the closing ceremony.
DDG Xu Sheng said that this training course provided an important platform for China and developing countries to exchange fish seed production and feed development technologies, and laid a solid foundation for further cooperation. He hoped that all the participants would work with FFRC to contribute to the development of the fish seed and feed industry in their countries, benefit the local people with more development achievements, and work together to create a bright future for global fisheries cooperation.
Mr. Kwadevo Kesé Mireku from Cape Coast University, Ghana made a statement as the representative of participants.
The 21-day training course was attended by 28 participants from five countries: Egypt, Thailand, Panama, Ghana and the Solomon Islands. The training course focused on “fish seed production and feed development technology”, and arranged a series of special lectures, experimental teaching, on-site teaching and discussion exchanges around China’s fishery industrialization development strategy, fishery science and technology innovation and development, aquatic fine seed system construction, seed production and cultivation, aquatic feed formula design and large-scale production, etc., and organized participantss to go to Guangzhou, Maoming and other places to carry out practical teaching.
