On April 10th, 2017, Mr. LI Qiang, Secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPC, paid a visit to Zhenjiang Base of FFRC.
During his visit, Prof. XU Pao, Director of FFRC introduced the progress on the establishment of Yangtze River rare fish germplasm resource bank which has been conducted by Zhenjiang Base. Mr. LI Qiang said that more actions on scientific innovation should be taken to fully develop modernized fishery and protect Yangtze river rare fish resources. Furthermore, scientists should make new contributions to the building of a moderately prosperous society through fishery development.
