From June 12 to 17, 2017, the “FAO Training Workshop on Innovative Integrated Agro-Aquaculture for Blue Growth in Asia-Pacific” was held in Kunming, Yunnan. The workshop was organized by Freshwater Fisheries Research Center。

With the theme of "Innovative Integrated Agro-Aquaculture for Blue Growth ", this workshop aimed to drive the blue economic growth of the countries in the Asia-Pacific region through the dissemination of China's eco-friendly agro-aquaculture model. 25 agriculture and fishery officers from 7 Asian countries including the Philippines, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and China participated in this workshop.
