From April 15 to 23, Prof. Dong Zaijie, Deputy Director of Aquatic Genetics and Breeding Division, FFRC, was invited to conduct academic exchanges at the Genetic Ecology Center of Sunshine Coast University in Australia.

Prof.DONG Zaijie exchanged views with Prof. Shao Yaofu and Dr Nguyen Hong Nguyen on future collaborative research in molecular evolution, large-scale data analysis and breeding, discussed the establishment of a joint laboratory for genetic analysis.

During the exchange, Prof. Dong Zaijie delivered an academic report entitled "The genetic diversity and differentiation in red tilapia" for researchers and students of the Centre for Genetic Ecology.
