On June 6-20th, 2018, Prof. Xu Pao, Director of FFRC and Dr. Wen Haibo, associate professor, deputy chief of the Dept. of Aquaculture, went to Tennessee to conduct a two-week training on key technologies for artificial breeding of Aplodinotus grunniens.
The training schedule is very compact, but the results obtained are very fruitful. It not only laid a technical foundation for the introduction of Aplodinotus grunniens and further breakthroughs in artificial breeding, but also provided new breeding technology for large-scale parasitic breeding of Chinese Potamilus alatus seedlings and new successful lessons for expanding and deepening the Sino-US fishery science and technology cooperation.
