From July 22-26, 2018, FFRC together with FAO sent fishery delegation to Ethiopia to implement the pilot project on sustainable aquaculture value chain under the China-FAO-Netherlands tripartite cooperation framework.

The Sustainable Aquaculture Value Chain Pilot Project aims to promote the tripartite cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural and Rural Affairs, FAO and the Netherlands in accordance with the China-United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization's Trust Fund Work Plan under the FAO framework, to leverage the comparative advantages of the three parties, integrate resources and explore innovation. It will help promote the sustainable development of Ethiopian agriculture in the pilot countries of South-South cooperation.
