On September 5, 2018, the "2018 Seminar on Aquaculture Extension for African French-speaking Countries" organized by FFRC was completed. Leaders and high level officers from FFRC and Wuxi Municipal governments attended the closing ceremony.

The seminar lasted for 21 days. A total of 44 Fishery officials from Benin, Mali, Djibouti, Cameroon, Congo, Congo, Guinea, Niger, Tunisia, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Algeria and Madagascar participated in the program.
