On November 4,Lancang-Mekong Basin Biological Resource Conservation Sub-forum sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and Hubei Provincial Government and organized by FFRC was successfully held in Wuhan City, Hubei Province.

With the goal of promoting sustainable development of fisheries in the Lancang-Mekong River Basin, nearly 70 fishery officials and experts from China, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and other countries gathered together to discuss conservation of ecological resources, rice and fish farming, and protection of endangered aquatic species.
