On September 23, the "Training Course on Aquatic Systemand Fundamental Fish Nutrition for Egypt" was successfully completed in the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences. Prof. Xu Pao, director of Freshwater Fisheries Research Center, and M. Li Zhi, deputy director of foreign investment and economic cooperation division of Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Commerce attended the closing ceremony and delivered speeches.                                  

         During the 14 days of training, 19 Egyptian fishery science and technology personnel had a compact and substantial life. Through classroom lectures, experimental practice, visits and discussions, they had a comprehensive understanding of the green and efficient production system and mode of aquaculture in China, and mastered the practical technology and method of fish nutrition analysis and feed development. During the visits, they successively went to Beijing, Shanghai, Changshu, Suzhou and other places to have in-depth exchanges and discussions with the scientific and technological personnel of the national aquatic breeding farms, aquatic technology promotion stations and feed development companies.

           At the closing ceremony, Mr. Vail Masoud,representative of participants said that through this training, they not only learned the knowledge and experience to improve the development of the aquaculture industry in Egypt, but also recognized the hard work, kindness and friendship of the Chinese people; When bringing knowledge and technology back to Egypt, they would also bring the Chinese people's hardworking spirit, friendliness and kindness to Egypt, and become the propaganda of China-Egypt friendship. "Thanks to the Chinese government and the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center, Sino-Egyptian fishery cooperation and friendship will last forever," said by Mr. Vail Masoud.

           On May 30, 1956, Egypt has become the first Arab and African country to establish diplomatic relations with China. Over the past 63 years, China and Egypt have enjoyed active exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, culture and education, news, science and technology. In recent years, the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center has actively implemented the spirit of the "Belt and Road" and "China Arab forum", and has carried out multi-level and wide-ranging fishery scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation with relevant universities and research institutions in Egypt. In March this year, the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center undertook the implementation of the "Oversea Training Course on Fish Disease Prevention and Treatment in Egypt ", sending eight experts in the field of fish disease prevention and control to Suez Canal University in Egypt for technical training and guidance, and providing expert support for the international seminar on aquaculture education cooperation of the League of Arab States. On April 24, when Yu Xinrong, Vice Minister of agriculture and rural affairs, visited Egypt, he paid a special visit to Suez Canal University to inspect the implementation results of the project. This "Training Course on Aquatic System and Fundamental Fish Nutrition for Egypt" is an extension and expansion of the "Oversea Training Course on Fish Disease Prevention and Treatment in Egypt ", which further tells the story of Chinese fisheries and shares the development experience of China's aquaculture industry, so that the Egyptian participants had a deeper understanding of China, felt a strong Chinese culture and became the propagandist and extender of China-Egypt friendship.
