From April 18 to 20, according to the work plan of Nanjing Agricultural University and the work deployment of Wuxi Education Bureau, Wuxi Fisheries College strictly and carefully implemented the work of the first group of students returning to school. All of the 45 graduate students returned to school safely.
On the morning of April 20, Prof. Xu Pao, Director of the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center and Dean of Wuxi Fisheries College, visited the returning graduate students and conducted the new-term mobilization for the epidemic prevention and control. He said that the year of 2020 is a special year. In the face of the epidemic, the whole nation has united as one to overcome the difficulties, demonstrated China's strength and responsibility to the world. Under the impact of COVID-19, students' study and life have been affected to different degrees. The College has actively coordinated to carry out online courses to provide conditions for students to study at home. We hope that students will actively cooperate with the school's epidemic prevention and control arrangements and do a good job in personal protection. At the same time, students need to be actively engaged in professional learning, scientific research and innovation, to achieve greater results in the new semester. All the teachers, students and other staff of the college should work together to fulfill their responsibility, so as to win the double victory of epidemic prevention and control and academic work.
This time only the second and third-year graduate students returned to school. Before they went back, our college established a four-level, including the college, counselors/teachers, class cadre and student/parent contact network of epidemic prevention & control, to check and control the basic information of every students back to school, and we check the disinfection condition of the students' dormitory in advance to fully prepared for the new semester.
