On the morning of August 3, FFRC held a meeting on the "August 1st" Army Day. Xu Pao, Director of FFRC,Wan Yibing, Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of FFRC, and more than 20 demobilized soldiers attended the meeting.
During the discussion, Director Xu Pao, on behalf of the center's leadership team and all employees, sent holiday blessings to the demobilized soldiers, and informed them of the progress of the center's work this year, the difficulties, and the next major tasks. He emphasized that demobilized soldiers have made outstanding contributions to national defense construction, social and economic development. The center will further implement the various benefits of demobilized soldiers, especially retired demobilized soldiers, and hope that demobilized soldiers will continue to play a role and contribute to the development of FFRC.
Deputy Secretary Wan Yibing introduced that China will present a commemorative medal for the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Volunteers’ going abroad to fight the US and Aid Korea, as well as the relevant situation of the personnel who will be awarded the medal.
Participants gave speeches one after another, expressing their deep excitement about the center's achievements and booming development. They were full of confidence in the center's future development, and were willing to make greater contributions to the development of FFRC.
