On August 11, the "Modern Fishery Development Plan of Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (2020-2030)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") jointly compiled by the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences and the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center passed the expert demonstration organized by Bayannur Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau. Liu Jianwei, deputy director of the Achievement Transformation Department of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, Wan Yibing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center, Duan Jinrong, director of the Achievement Transformation and Technology Promotion Department, and Hu Gengdong, a researcher from the Department of Fishery EnvironmentProtection of FFRC, attended the demonstration meeting. The demonstration meeting was presided by Duan Ruwen, deputy director of the Bayannur Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau.
At the meeting, Researcher Hu Gengdong made a detailed report on the "Plan" on behalf of the compilation team, mainly focusing on the introduction of the fishery development resource conditions and status, planning ideas and principles, industrial layout, key projects, support system construction, and safeguard measures. Five experts fromthe Fisheries Technology Extension Stationof the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region listened to the report and reviewed relevant materials. After inquiries and discussions by the expert group, it is believed that the "Plan" conforms to the relevant policies and requirements of the country, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and Bayannur City. They unanimously agree to pass the "Plan", and suggest that the "Plan" should be further revised and improved, and be implemented as soon as possible.
The compilation team of the "Plan" also investigated the Bainaobao Fisheries ground and Nanxiaozhao Aquatic Product Cooperatives before the demonstration meeting, communicated with local fishery department leaders and farmers on the "Plan", and introduced the preparation and experience in seed breeding, culture mode, pond water treatment, etc.
