On August 31, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs organized experts to conducted on-site acceptance of the provincial marine and fishery technology innovation and promotion project "Integration and Demonstration of Pond Eco-engineered Circulating Aquaculture Technology (D2018-3)” jointly undertaken by FFRC. The acceptance expert group is composed of 3 experts including researcher Zhang Xianzhong from Wuxi Fisheries Technology Extension Station, He Qi senior engineer from Changshu Fisheries Technology Extension Station, and Chen Jianming from Zhejiang Institute of Freshwater Fisheries. Researcher Huang Chungui of Jiangsu Fishery Technology Extension Center, Zhang Maoyou, director of Suzhou Aquatic Technology Extension Station, Zhu Yangbao, deputy director of Wujiang District Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Zhou Jianzhong, director of WujiangAquatic Technology Extension Station, Zhu Jian, chief of Dept.of Scientific Research of Freshwater Fisheries Research Center, Xu Gangchun, chief of Dept. of Aquaculture, and more than 20 project team members participated in the mid-term acceptance. The acceptance meeting was presided over by researcher Zhu Jian, the chief expert of the project.
Assistant researcher Li Bing, a member of the project team, reported the project implementation to the expert group. The "Integration and Demonstration of Pond Eco-engineered Recirculating Aquaculture Technology" project is a major aquatic project in Jiangsu Province in 2018. It implemented pond standardization transformation, purification function area construction, etc., and built a full-process controllable circulating water ecological aquaculture demonstration area to realize resource recycling of aquaculture wastewater and sludge. Researcher Zhu Jian elaborated on key issues such as technical research and development, application demonstration, implementation effects, operation and maintenance, and put forward the next step of work.
Afterwards, the expert group inspected the site, deeply understood the system layout, functional zoning and purification facilities of the pond circulating water ecological aquaculture demonstration area, and conducted on-site measurement of the production of perch breeding ponds. The expert group listened to the report on the implementation of the project, reviewed the relevant acceptance materials, discussed, and put forward suggestions for the future R&D and application demonstration work, and agreed to pass the mid-term acceptance.
