On the morning of September 7, Wuxi Fisheries College of Nanjing Agricultural University held the opening ceremony for the new semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. Xu Pao, director of FFRC and dean of Wuxi Fisheries College, Jiang Gaozhong, chief of the Dept. of Human Resources, FFRC and vice dean of Wuxi Fisheries College attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Jing Xiaojun, chief of the Dept. of International Cooperation and Education, FFRC. Representatives of teachers, junior and senior undergraduates, as well as all master students and international students attended the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, the flag raising ceremony was held first. Subsequently, representatives of students and teachers made speeches for the new semester. Dean Xu Pao delivered a speech, expressing the warmest welcome to the students of grade 2018 to Wuxi Fisheries College, and also expressing the most sincere congratulations to the students who have studied diligently and achieved fruitful results in the past academic year. At the same time, Dean Xu Pao put forward hopes and requirements to the students regarding the study and life in the new semester.
