On November 11, researcher Fu Hongtuo from the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center Branch of Jiusan Society led a group of 5 people went to Weishe Village, Ehu Town, Xishan District, Wuxi City to participate in the “32nd China International Week of Science and Peace” activity of sending experts to the countryside".
During this activity, researcher Fu Hongtuo introduced new policies, new technologies and related information of the aquaculture industry to the aquaculture farmers in Weishe Village, Ehu Town. Researcher Hu Gengdong and Gong Yongsheng respectively introduced waste water treatment technology in aquaculture and disease prevention technology. Dr. Tang Yongkai, who was invited to participate in this activity, introduced the new species of Chinese mitten crab "Noah 1" cultivated by FFRC. Afterwards, the expert team carefully answered the questions raised by the farmers in the aquaculture process, and combined their respective professions to solve the problems for the fishermen.
FFRC branch also presented fishermen with lighting lamps and the magazine "Scientific Fish Farming" to encourage fishermen to communicate in time when they encounter problems in aquaculture in the future.
