Recently, the research results of "Research and Application of Key Technologies for Sustainable Utilization of Little Yellow Croaker Resources in the East China Sea" and "Research and Application of Little Yellow Croaker Population Biology and Resource Management Technology in the East China Sea" participated by the Key Laboratory of Freshwater Fisheries Research Center,CAFSrespectively won the first prize of the 2019 China General Chamber of Commerce Science and Technology Award and the second prize of the 2019 National Oceanic Science and Technology Award.
In the above two scientific and technological achievements, researcher Yang Jian and his team of the key laboratory of the CAFS used the established fishery environmental microchemistry research platform and the related fish otolith microchemistry research technology to successfully contribute to the research of the migration history of little yellow croaker in the important water areas of the East China Sea, transport mechanism of the early life history, the interpretation of the population spatial pattern, the proposal of sustainable utilization of population resources.
