On September 24, Liu Xiangde, director of Fisheries Service Center of Heze City, Shandong Province, and a group of 6 people visited FFRC. Deputy director Hu Haiyan warmly welcomed Director Liu Xiangde and other visitors. Leaders of the relevant departments participated in the discussion and exchanges.

At the meeting, Hu Haiyan warmly welcomed Liu Xiangde’s team to visit FFRC, he reviewed the history and achievements of the center’s fishery science and technology cooperation with Heze City, and made suggestions on deepening cooperation between the two sides and improving the quality and efficiency of Heze’s fishery and the green development of fisheries in Heze. Liu Xiangde introduced the fishery development in Heze City and its bottleneck constraints. He hoped that relying on FFRC’s talents and technology advantages, Heze City’s fishery management and Industry development levelwould be improved by the establishment of cooperation platforms, the introduction of new aquatic varietiesand new technologies, and aquaculture technology guidance and training. The two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on the joint construction of demonstration bases for the transformation of achievements, fishery training, new aquaculture varieties and green breeding technology models.

Liu Xiangde and his group also visited the two pilot research station of Nanquan and Yangzhong of FFRC to learn more about the selective breeding of new aquatic varieties, integrated rice-fish farming, industrialized ecological pond culture, etc., and conducted in-depth exchanges with relevant scientific and technical personnel.
