From December 8 to 9, Yan Jianli, Party Secretary and Director of Hangzhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Zhou Tiefeng, Chief of the Party and Government Office, Wang Qinfang, Chief of Science and Technology Division, Director Wang Yuxi, Honorary Director Feng Xiaoyu, Deputy Director Xie Nan of Fisheries Institute, etc. visited FFRC for investigation and exchange. Party Secretary Ge Xianping of FFRC warmly welcomed Director Yan Jianli and other visitors.

During the discussion and exchange, Secretary Ge Xianping extended a warm welcome to all the visitors. He introduced the important scientific and technological achievements of the center in recent years, as well as innovative team building, industrial support, domestic education and international cooperation. Director Yan Jianli introduced the overview development of Hangzhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences, focusing on the disciplines, teams, projects, achievements and other aspects of the Fisheries Institute, and expressed the hope to deepen cooperation with FFRC to promote the continuous improvement of scientific and technological innovation. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on scientific research project management, talent team building, performance evaluation and incentive mechanisms.

Director Yan Jianli also visited the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Aquaculture and Inland Fisheries Research and Training Reference Center, Sino-US Freshwater Shellfish Joint Laboratory, Dept. of Aquaculture, Dept. of Aquatic Biological Resources and Dapu Station and exchanged with relevant scientific personnels.
