On December 22, the second “’Ruihua Cup’ Commendation Conference for the Most Influential Students of Nanjing Agricultural University” was held in the headquarters of Nanjing Agricultural University. Luo Mingkun, a 2017 doctoral student of Wuxi Fisheries College, was nominated for the “Star of Diligence” and attended the commendation conference.

During his study, Dr. Luo Mingkun ranked first in his professional performance; as the first author, he published 3 SCI papers and 2 external review articles and presided over a postgraduate research and practice innovation project in Jiangsu Province; from October 2019 to October 2020 , he went to the University of Nebraska Omaha, USA for joint training as a publicly-sponsored doctoral students; he was awarded the National Scholarship for doctoral students, the Great Northern Agriculture Inspirational Scholarship, 3 first-class academic scholarships for doctoral students, and excellent postgraduate students in mid-term examination for doctoral students.
