On May 22, the opening ceremony of the 2021 National Science and Technology Week and the 33rd Wuxi Popular Science Propaganda Week was held in Wuxi National Digital Film Industry Park. FFRC participated in the opening ceremony and the following event, and displayed its latest scientific and technological achievements in recent years, such as new species, new models, and new technologies in the form of achievement display and on-site explanation.

Scientists and technicians from FFRC introduced the latest scientific and technological achievements in genetic breeding, nutrient feed, water purification and other aspects at the exhibition site. They introduced selective breeding and extension of new species such as the GIFT tilapia “Zhongwei No. 1”, freshwater prawn “Taihu No. 2” and Chinese mitten crab “Noah No.1” which are concerned by the public. Scientists and technicians from FFRC also presented the “Compilation of Scientific and Technological Achievements” and other materials to the citizens, and answered their questions.
