On November 20, the on-site production test of the "Selective Breeding of Chinese mitten crab" project, a major new strain o in Jiangsu province, undertaken by the Center, was held in Yangcheng Lake Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, Suzhou City.

At the on-site production test, Prof. Xu Pao reported to the expert group about the implementation of the project and the breeding progress of new crab strain. The expert group inspected the site and carried out the production test. They fully affirmed the excellent traits of the new strains, and hoped that the crab breeding team of the Center would continue to develop improves crab strain as soon as possible, establish a healthy crab demonstration base in the Yangcheng Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, and promote the green ecological culture model.
