Researchers of FFRC went to Malaysia for Academic Exchange Task

From 10th to 13th of July, Yuan Yuan, associate professor and Dr. Dai Yunyun of FFRC went to the WorldFish Center in Malaysia to implement the CAFS intentional cooperation project ‘Research on the current situation, problems and Strategies of China's participation in international fishery organizations.

Delegation exchange with Dr. Gareth Johnstone, director general of the WorldFish Center, Mr. Michael Phillips, Minister of Fisheries and Fisheries Science, Dr. David shearer, Minister of foreign relations, Mr. John benzie and Mr. chadagvishnumurthy Mohan, chief scientist of sustainable aquaculture, Dr. jharendu Pant senior scientist of sustainable aquaculture, Mr. Rodrigueyossa, expert in fish feed and nutrition, Dr. Alex Tilley, principal of FishBase database et al. The exchange included the overview of FFRC and major scientific and technological achievements in recent years, the overview of the WorldFish Center and the latest scientific research results as well as main approaches, fields and methods of scientific and technological cooperation. Prof. Yuan Yuan shared the report titled Integration of industry chain, external financing and distribution of cooperative residual: analysis on Yanghe village economic community.

FFRC and the WorldFish Center have long-term and extensive cooperation. This delegation is aimed to explore advise and direction of future cooperation to share latest achievement, exchange new ideas and join in international affairs in a more efficient approach.
