On the 29th of March, 23 participants of 2019 seminar for the Indonesian Village Leader accompanied by Mr. Xiechengsuo, first Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia Visited FFRC. Prof. Xu Pao, Dorector General of FFRC meet with the participants.

Prof. Xu Pao extended a warm welcome to the participants' visits, introduced main achievements of scientific research and international cooperation in recent years, and made a report on green development of China's fishery and rural revitalization strategies. He believed that China and Indonesia have a bright future for fishery cooperation, especially in rice-fish integrated breeding. Cooperation of technology research, promotion and demonstration can be further explored.

The leader of the seminar, Ms. Sari Arta UliAritonang, senior official of the Ministry of Agriculture of Indonesia, said that the achievements of the FFRC in scientific and technological innovation and international cooperation were impressive.The exchange is very useful and inspiring for Indonesia. She would like to strengthen scientific and technological cooperation with FFRC to increase farmers' income, promoting fishery development.

Mr. Xie expressed the willing to provide necessary support for bilateral cooperation and look forward to FFRC’s contribution of rice-fish integrated breeding, increase of farmers' income.
