The online signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation between FFRC and Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences was held on April 26. Sui Guomin, President of Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Bing Xuwen, Vice President, Xu Pao, Director of FFRC, Ge Xianping, Secretary of the Party Committee, Xu Gangchun, Deputy Director, and Zhu Jian, Member of the Party Committee and Chief of the Dept. of Scientific attended the event. The signing ceremony was presided over by Vice President Bing Xuwen, and President Sui Guomin and Director Xu Pao signed the cooperation agreement as representatives of both sides.

At the signing ceremony, Director Xu Pao said that FFRC and Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences have cooperated many times before, especially in the promotion of FFRC’s new variety “Jian Carp No. 2”(Cyprinus carpiovar Jian), which has achieved good results. The signing of the strategic agreement will further promote in-depth cooperation and exchanges between the two sides. President Sui Guomin hoped to take the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity to give full play to the advantages of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the national key tasks such as serving “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”, scientific and technological demonstration, and rural revitalization, to accelerate the development of freshwater fishery science and technology, and to strive to provide scientific and technological support for rural revitalization with the goal of green and high-quality development.
