On May 4, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China, the Youth League Committee of FFRC organized and held the Second May Fourth Youth Day Recitation Contest of Wuxi Fisheries College. A total of 11 undergraduates and postgraduates from Wuxi Fisheries College participated in the contest. The entire contest was broadcast live online, with nearly 200 viewers.
Jing Xiaojun, Chief of the Dept. of International Cooperation and Education, attended the contest and delivered a speech. He briefly reviewed the glorious history of the birth, development and growth of the Communist Youth League of China, and pointed out that the May Fourth youth spirit needs to be inherited and demonstrated by young people, so as to inspire them to better inherit the spirit of the May Fourth Movement and practice the mission of the times.
After the evaluation, a total of 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 5 third prizes were selected.
