On Oct. 28-29, 2022 Jiangsu Provincial Postgraduate Academic Innovation Forum on “Green Fisheries and Rural Revitalization” was successfully held in the International Conference Hall of Wuxi Fisheries College, Nanjing Agricultural University. Ding Yanfeng, Vice President of Nanjing Agricultural University and Director of Jiangsu Provincial Steering Committee of Agricultural Graduate Education, Dong Weichun, Vice President of Nanjing Agricultural University and Dean of the Graduate School, Liu Yingjie, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, Xu Pao, Director General of the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center (FFRC) and Dean of Wuxi Fisheries College, Bing Xuwen, Deputy Director of FFRC, Zhu Jian, Member of the Party Committee of FFRC, Liu Xingguo, Chief of the Ecological Engineering Division of the Institute of Fishery Machinery and Instruments Research Institute, Wu Yanning, Deputy Dean of the College of Animal Science & Technology of Nanjing Agricultural University, Zhu Zhongchao, Deputy Chief of the Academic Degree Office of the Graduate School, and all master supervisor of Wuxi Fisheries College attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Jiang Gaozhong, Vice Dean of Wuxi Fisheries College.

The forum was hosted by Jiangsu Provincial Steering Committee of Agricultural Graduate Education and organized by Wuxi Fisheries College of Nanjing Agricultural University. More than 330 graduate students from 33 domestic universities involved in fishery participated in the forum both online and offline. The forum has three sub forums, including “Green Aquaculture and Industrial Chain”, “Aquatic Animal Nutrition and Genomics”, and “Fishery Resources, Environment and Ecological Revitalization”.
