On November 18, Yang Jing, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government visited FFRC for research and exchange.
At the meeting, Director Xu Pao extended a warm welcome to Deputy Director Yang Jing, and thanked the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province for its support to FFRC over the years. Director Xu Pao introduced in detail the history of FFRC’s international cooperation over the past 40 years, especially the effectiveness of foreign cooperation achieved under the three major frameworks, including South-South cooperation, China-Africa Forum and Lancang-Mekong mechanism. Director Xu Pao said that FFRC takes aquaculture as a carrier to actively tell “Chinese stories”, disseminate “Chinese experience” and share “Chinese solutions”.
Deputy Director Yang Jing expressed gratitude to FFRC for its outstanding contributions to the development of Jiangsu’s foreign cooperation and spoke highly of FFRC’s foreign affairs achievements under the three major frameworks. She introduced the main situation of the Foreign Affairs Office work in Europe and Africa, and expressed her hope to further strengthen the linkage and cooperation with FFRC to help Jiangsu cooperate with Africa, and build a China-Africa community with a shared future with a more pragmatic technical cooperation model.
Deputy Director Yang Jing also visited the exhibition room of FFRC, Wuxi Fisheries College of Nanjing Agricultural University, and the exhibition area of FFRC’s foreign aid training, and had online exchanges with the participants who were participating in FFRC’s online foreign aid training course.
