Recently, a Medicinal Herb Anti-stress Preparation for Wuchang Bream with its preparing and applying methods, invented by Prof. LIU Bo, Prof. XIE Jun, Prof. GE Xianping, etc. from the Department of Fishery Veterinary & Feed Nutrition of FFRC, was granted the National Invention Patent with the patent No.: ZL2012 10573514.X.

Belonging to the aquatic compound feed technology, this invention involves a medicinal herb anti-stress preparation for Wuchang Bream and its preparing method, with Chinese gallnut, acanthopanax root, phellodendron, dandelion, Chinese pulsatilla root and licorice proportionally mised and crushed into dry powder. This invention has the following features: stable raw material sources, simple preparation, wide range of raw materials, and low cost. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, the preparation supplements both the anti-stress medicinal herb and the anti-disease medicinal herb, and while being used, it can improve fish immunity, antioxidant capability, anti high-density ability, and resistance to aeromonas hydrophila, and promote the growth of Wuchang Bream.
