“An Improved Zooplankton Collecting Net" invented by ZHOU Yanfeng, YOU Yang, XU Dongpo, etc. from the Department of Inland Fishery Resource Assessment & Stock Enhancement of FFRC was granted the national utility model patent with the patent number ZL201320526004.4.
This patent is about a modified net for zooplankton collecting, which includes a net top and a rod set on head of the net top which can be connected to the thread of a telescopic grip rod. Focusing on the defects of the current technology, this new model makes use of socket, sign board and thread connecting rod, and provides a zooplankton collecting net which can save time, enhance sampling efficiency, and makes the differentiation of different mesh-size nets easier.
